Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information WikiFeet Guide ("we", "us" or "our"), the operator of thewikifeet.com, collects when you visit https://thewikifeet.com, how that information is used, and the choices and rights you have. We have deliberately built the site to collect as little personal information as possible. WikiFeet Guide is an independent informational guide for adults and is not the official WikiFeet website.

Who we are

WikiFeet Guide publishes articles and guides about selling feet pictures safely and links to third-party platforms such as InstaFeet. We do not host user photos, user accounts or adult content of any kind. The site is not owned by, operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with InstaFeet or WikiFeet.

Information we collect

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel automatically records basic technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, your browser's user agent, the page requested, the referring URL, and the date and time of the request. We use this information only for security and operational purposes, for example to diagnose errors, keep the site available, and detect and prevent abuse. We do not use these logs to profile individual visitors or for advertising.

Contact form

If you use our contact page, we collect the name, email address, subject and message you choose to submit. This information is stored in the site's database and used only to read and reply to your message. We keep contact form submissions for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted. Please do not include sensitive personal information, financial details or images in your message.

We do not offer user accounts, process payments or ask you to upload photos.

Cookies and local storage

We use only the following browser storage:

  • Age confirmation (localStorage): when you confirm that you are 18 or older, that choice is saved in your browser's localStorage so you are not asked again on every visit. This value stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
  • Administrator session cookie: an httpOnly session cookie is set only when the site administrator signs in to the admin area. Ordinary visitors do not receive this cookie.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not load third-party trackers or analytics tools by default. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy to describe them and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

Some links on the site are affiliate links to InstaFeet. When you click one, you leave thewikifeet.com, and InstaFeet's own privacy policy and terms apply to anything you do there. The affiliate partner may use its own cookies or similar technologies to recognise that you arrived through our link so the referral can be credited. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. For more detail, see our Affiliate Disclosure.

How we use information

We use the limited information described above to:

  • operate, maintain and secure the site;
  • respond to messages you send us;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure website (hosting logs and the administrator cookie) and in answering enquiries (contact form), on the storage being strictly necessary for a feature you request (age confirmation), and on compliance with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted or cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose information only to service providers that host and run the site and its database on our behalf, when required by law or valid legal process, when necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of visitors, ourselves or others, or as part of a transfer of the site to a new operator. Our hosting provider may process information in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States.

Retention and security

  • Contact form messages: kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Hosting logs: retained by Vercel for its standard operational periods.
  • Age confirmation: stored on your device until you clear it.
  • Administrator session cookie: expires when the session ends or the administrator signs out.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, these generally include the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to certain processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Under California laws such as the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, residents may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email contact@thewikifeet.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Adults only

The site is intended only for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add analytics or change how the site works. The "last updated" date on this page shows when it was last revised.
